A perfect winter soup that will both fill you up and warm you up. The taste resembles traditional Polish cabbage rolls with lots of tomato sauce!
- 3 liters of broth
- 1 pc carrot
- 1/2 pcs of celery
- 500g of minced meat
- 1 pc leek
- 1 pc onion
- 3 bay leaves
- 5 grains of allspice
- a few grains of pepper
- 1/3 of a head of white cabbage
- 100g of rice
- 500ml of tomato passata
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of marjoram
- 2 teaspoons of minced garlic
- hot pepper – if you like a spicier taste
We heat up the pans with oil. Dice the onion, peel the carrot, celery and leek and cut into strips. Fry the vegetables in a pan with oil.
Add minced meat to the brew and fry it until it is lightly browned.
Heat the broth in a pot, then add the fried meat with vegetables.
Add shredded cabbage, sugar, marjoram, garlic, allspice, bay leaves, concentrate and tomato passata. We cook for about 20 minutes.
Then add the rice and cook the soup over low heat until the rice and cabbage are tender.
Season to taste with salt, pepper and hot paprika if you like. We boil.
Enjoy your meal!
