Classic peanut butter cookies

Peanut butter cookies ,  who could resist them? They are soft, full of peanut butter flavor and are super delicious!

Cookies are simple to make, so try it too!


  • 1 1/3 cup (188 g) of flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (113 g) butter (soft) or margarine
  • 1/2 cup (105 g) of sugar
  • 1/2 cup (110 g) of light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup (185 g) peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Line the baking sheets with parchment. 

In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix butter , sugar and brown sugar together until mixed.

Stir in peanut butter , then add egg and vanilla sugar. Slowly add the flour mixture and mix only until combined. Mix by hand.

Collect the dough and form balls, then place on a baking sheet at larger intervals.

Using a fork, lightly flatten the cakes, then turn the fork in the opposite direction and flatten slightly again (it should form a grid).

Bake cookies in a preheated oven for about 9 minutes (cookies will be pale and lightly baked). 

Cool on a baking sheet for 5 minutes and then transfer to the wire rack to cool completely.
