Coconut cake

Delicate, perfectly soft cake. Slightly moist.

If you like coconut, it will be perfect for you.


  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 cup fine sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1.5 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes
  • pinch of salt
  • powdered sugar – for sprinkling

The ingredients should be at room temperature.

Mix the eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until it is slightly dissolved.

Reduce the speed of the mixer to a minimum. Gradually add yogurt and oil. Then sprinkle the flour with baking powder and mix.

Add the shavings and mix with a spoon. Pour the dough into a cake pan (about 2 liters) or divide into smaller ones (such as for lamb and muffins).

Bake at 175 degrees C for about 50 minutes. Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
