Quick bite-sized biscuits. They are perfect for coffee or tea.
- 225 g of wheat flour
- 85g of corn starch
- 1 egg
- 100g of sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 170g of margarine
- 2 teaspoons of instant coffee
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa
- powdered sugar for dusting
Place the flour, cornstarch, egg, sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Mix.
Add margarine and knead everything into a uniform dough.
Divide the dough in half. Add 1 tablespoon of cocoa to one part, and instant coffee to the other. Knead both, wrap in foil and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
After this time, take the dough out, form small balls (the size of a walnut) and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake at 180 degrees C for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
After cooling down, you can sprinkle some with powdered sugar.
