Autumn and mushroom season. It is true that in my childhood I did not like forest mushrooms very much, it changed when I grew up.
This time I used forest mushrooms from the freezer, which perfectly matched the dinner with pork and cabbage.
The following recipe is therefore perfect as an addition to dinner or for bread.
Ingredients
- forest mushrooms (fresh or frozen)
- 1 small onion
- 1-2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 2 small sprigs of rosemary
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme (or 1 tablespoon dried)
- salt
- pepper
- a pinch of dried garlic (optional)
Clean, wash and dry forest mushrooms. Cut into slices. You can use already frozen and cut ones.
Peel the onion and cut it into semi-circles or smaller pieces.
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the onion and seszlkij.
Then add the mushrooms and sauté for 5 minutes.
Add chopped thyme and chopped rosemary (leaves only). Fry for 10 minutes.
Finally, add the butter, season with salt and pepper, and dried garlic if you like. Fry an additional 5 minutes.
Serve as an accompaniment to dinner or to bread.
Bon Appetit!
