Greek cake with nuts and raisins

Tasty cake with dried fruits and nuts: raisins and nuts. It is easy to make, aromatic and just right for coffee or tea.


  • 300 g of wheat flour
  • 2 spoons of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 200g of butter
  • 130g of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 ml of orange juice
  • 100g of walnuts
  • 100g of raisins
  • peel of 2 oranges
  • icing sugar

Place the flour, baking powder and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.

Put the butter in a separate bowl. Keep them until fluffy. Gradually add sugar until well blended.

While still beating, add the eggs one at a time, alternating with the dry ingredients. Add orange juice at the end.

Add raisins, nuts and orange zest to the finished dough. Mix it up slowly.

Put the cake on the cake plate. Bake at 180 degrees C for about 45-50 minutes.

Sprinkle the finished and cooled cake with powdered sugar.
