In the Indian subcontinent, “Lassi” refers to any yogurt-based drink. So Mango Lassi is another popular version in which sweet mangoes are mixed with yogurt.
It’s thick, sweet and creamy and is one of the best ways to enjoy mangoes!
- 1-2 mangoes
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1/2 cup of milk (cold) or cold water to thin the lassi
- 1-2 tablespoons of sugar (you can opt out)
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
Put peeled and chopped mangoes into the blender cup.
Now add yogurt, e.g. Greek.
Now add cold milk (or water). I add them to thin the lassi a little. Also add sugar and cardamom powder.
Mix everything until it blends well.
Pour the mango lassi into glasses and cool before serving!
Before serving, you can decorate with pistachios, saffron, or like me, meringues.
