the best addition to the dishes
Here’s an easy recipe for a quick portion of delicious pickled onions. You can use them on sandwiches, tacos, tortillas, on salads or anything you want to revive with a specific taste
You can store in the fridge for at least a few weeks, then you can happily cut a completely new onion and create a new portion in a few minutes.
I did not do it for the first time, and I love adding it to salads for work.
Components
- 2-3 pieces of red onion
- 3/4 glass of vinegar
- 3/4 glass of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 clove of garlic
- 3 pcs of pepper in grains
- 1 item bay leaf
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the vinegar with water, salt and an optional pinch of sugar. Bring to a slight boil or until all salt has dissolved.
Peel the onion, cut it in half and cut into thin strips (chips)
Place the onion in the jar quite dense, insert a garlic clove, a bay leaf and add pepper.
Fill with vinegar from vinegar and water (still warm). Spin and leave to cool.
Store in a refrigerator. The marinated onion will be ready in a few hours!
Enjoy your meal!
