Pumpkin buns, very soft!

Orange, soft rolls with a neutral taste. Perfect for sweet jam or nutella, but also for salty things, meats and cheese.

  • 400 g wheat flour
  • 20 g fresh yeast (or about 1.5 teaspoons dry)
  • 200 ml of water
  • 20 g olive oil
  • 200 g pumpkin puree (preferably drained as best as possible)
  • 9 g of salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • pumpkin or sunflower seeds

Prepare yeast first. Mix 100 g of water, 100 g of flour and yeast until a dough is obtained.

Then cover and set aside in a warm place until it doubles size. Yeast is ready when bubbles form on the surface.

Put the pumpkin puree in a bowl, add yeast leaven, and the rest of the flour, water, oil and salt. Knead well, manually or with a mixer. Form a ball, if necessary help yourself with a pinch of flour.

Cover and set aside in a warm place until it doubles size.

Then hit the dough. Do 10 or more parts and make balls.

Stand for several minutes. Brush with yolk and sprinkle with seeds.

Bake in an oven at 180 ° for about 15-20 minutes, until golden brown!

Remove from the oven and cool for at least 15 minutes! 

Pumpkin buns are  ready!
