Turkey rolls are a delicious way to have an unusual dinner on the table. Something other than a breaded cutlet will delight even the picky eaters.
Ingredients
- 4 slices of turkey breast (about 600g)
- 1/3 red pepper
- 4 dried tomatoes
- 4 narrow, thin slices of cheddar cheese
- 1/2 red onion
- 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- salt and pepper
- lard or frying oil
Break the turkey slices with a meat mallet into thin slices (preferably through the foil). Season with salt, pepper, thyme and dried garlic on both sides.
Place a small piece of red pepper, dried tomato, a piece of cheese and a small piece of onion in the center of each slice of meat. Roll into rolls and secure with toothpicks.
Heat lard or oil in a pan. At the same time, preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
Brown the rolls on all sides. Once they are browned, place the rolls in an ovenproof dish.
Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes.
Serve with mashed potatoes or baked vegetables and a salad.
Enjoy your meal!
