Highlander turkey cutlets

A combination of ingredients that I would not have thought of. Most of them are in our kitchen.

After frying, we will get a juicy cutlets with a very crunchy crust with a rather original and interesting taste. But what do you advise if the batter is made in a rather unusual way?


  • 1 kg of turkey breast
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of potato starch
  • 3 tablespoons of ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard (hot)
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • salt pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon chilli (for spicy or spicy ketchup)
  • 1 cup of corn flakes
  • bread crumbs
  • oil or lard for frying

Rinse the turkey fillet, dry it and cut into thick slices. Break each one gently

In a bowl, beat the eggs, add a pinch of salt and pepper. Then add the crushed garlic, ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise, and optionally also chili. Finally, stir in the potato starch well.

Dip the turkey slices in the marinade and set aside for about 2 hours.

Crumble the corn flakes into small pieces and mix with the breadcrumbs.

Heat oil or lard in a frying pan.

Coat the chops in flakes with breadcrumbs and fry until golden brown.

Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes: potatoes, dumplings or salad! Enjoy your meal!
