Bok choi with garlic

This simple recipe for a crispy, fresh and full of unexpected taste cabbage Bok Choy  will certainly like. Just 10 minutes and you can treat it as a vegetarian dish, side dish or an addition to meat dishes.

The simplest things are the best. The recipe consists of only a few ingredients, including ginger, garlic and soy sauce. 

Bok choy, also known as pak choy or pok choi, is a type of Chinese cabbage  that has smooth, wide, flat leaves at one end, and the other end forms a celery-like cluster. We can eat it raw or cooked / fried.


  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 4 garlic cloves – chopped
  • 1 large onion – chopped
  • several bok choy – cut in half or quarters
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of archaid oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper flakes
  • pepper, parmesan cheese

Heat oil in a large frying pan. Add garlic and onion, stir fry constantly for 1-2 minutes.

Add bok choy, soy sauce and sesame oil. Cover. Fry for 1-2 minutes, turn over, then cover and continue cooking until the side is lightly browned and soft (about 5 minutes)

Sprinkle with paprika, parmesan and pepper, serve immediately.
