Croissant with egg and onion

Who doesn’t like croissants? Fresh and warm are the best, but sometimes one can get lost and you can go crazy.


2 people

  • 2 croissants (can be from the previous day)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices of yellow cheese
  • 1/2 red onion
  • butter
  • ketchup (optional)

Heat up the butter in a frying pan. We break the eggs and throw each one separately into the pan. Fry and turn after a while. Place the sliced ​​onion next to it.

During this time, we heat up the second pan.

Cut the croissants in half.

Then put the cheese on one half, then put the egg and fried onion on it. Optionally add ketchup. Fold the croissants together.

Place the croissants in the pan and press down with a second pan or lid. Fry for 2 minutes or until golden brown. Turn over and fry another 2 minutes.

Serve hot!
