Some time ago I discovered that the warm version of romaine lettuce is really delicious.
In this case, I decided to combine a few ingredients that I love: lettuce, bacon and halloumi. Simple and delicious.
Ingredients
for 2 people
- 2 heads of mini romaine lettuce
- 6 slices of bacon
- 125g / 6 slices of halloumi cheese
- grated parmesan
- salt and pepper
Preheat the pan over medium heat.
Put the bacon slices in the pan and fry until golden brown and crispy.
Set aside on a paper towel-lined plate to drain off excess fat.
Place the halloumi slices in the pan and sauté until golden brown on both sides. Set aside.
Cut romaine lettuce in half. Put them in a pan and fry on one side, then on the other. Salt and pepper gently. Pour a few tablespoons of water, the lettuce should be slightly soft.
Arrange the lettuce on the plates. Arrange the halloumi and bacon on it. Sprinkle everything with grated Parmesan cheese.
Bon Appetit!
