Ready in minutes. The easy brussels sprouts salad consists of thinly sliced brussel sprouts, juicy apples, dried cranberries and pieces of pecans. Combine this with a quick dressing for an easy side dish, perfect for the holidays or any day of the week!
- 400g of fresh Brussels sprouts
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries
- 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1.5 pcs of apples
- 1/2 cup pecans (crushed)
- fresh pomegranate (optional)
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 teaspoon of mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon of r salt
- a pinch of black pepper
Thinly chop the Brussels sprouts, cut as thin as possible. Grate the Parmesan cheese finely and apples on the thick meshes. In a large bowl, combine all salad ingredients (except pomegranate if you use it).
In a small jar (or bowl), put all the sauce ingredients. Mix.
Add the salad dressing and stir until combined. At the end you can sprinkle with pomegranate.
The salad is ready to be served.
