Cinnamon coffee muffins

Healthy  coffee  with Greek

The batter for muffins I used plain Greek yogurt instead of butter or oil. Each muffin is topped with a crumble, which is the best part of the cake! Crumbs fall on the plate.

Despite the name, there is no in the cupcakes. Why is it called a cake? Because they should be eaten with a cup of hot !

I added a lot of cinnamon to both muffins and crumble, because it fits perfectly here ..


For cupcakes
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 spoons of powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 large  
For crumble
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup flour

Preheat the oven to 170 ° C. Prepare silicone muffin molds or muffin mold with paper chill lines. 

For crumble

In a medium bowl, add sugar, powdered sugar, ground cinnamon and salt. Mix together.

Add butter and knead with your fingers. Add flour and mix everything. 

Knead the crumble between your fingers so that all the ingredients are mixed. The dough should crumble under your fingers. Set aside until ready for use.


In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, soda and salt. Mix.

In a separate bowl, combine milk , Greek yogurt and eggs. Whip until well combined. Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix together until a thick dough forms.

Spread the dough evenly into muffins and sprinkle the crumble muffins. Try to use it all.

Bake muffins for 15-18 minutes or until the toothpick inserted inside comes out dry. Take the muffins out of the oven and let them cool down
