Cakes that may not be easy to make, but really good. Almost only dried fruit, and finally supplemented with chocolate.
Ingredients
25-30 pcs
- 50g of candied cherries
- 50g of candied orange peel
- 100g of raisins
- 200g almonds (preferably in flakes or bars)
- 50g of flour
- 120g of butter
- 120g of sugar
- 50ml of heavy cream
- bitter chocolate (about 100g)
Chop the cherries and peel. If we have larger raisins , we also cut them roughly.
In a pot, melt the butter and sugar. After the butter is melted, remove from heat and stir to dissolve the sugar as much as possible. Add the heavy cream and set aside to cool.
Place the dried fruit in a bowl and mix it with the flour. Add cooled butter and cream. Mix thoroughly.
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius. Cover the baking tray with baking paper. Line out the dough. One spoon for one cookie, slightly flatten with a spoon.
Bake for 12-15 minutes. They should be golden in color.
Melt the chocolate in a water bath. Brush the bottom of the cakes with chocolate and set aside until firm.
Enjoy your meal!
