A BIT DIFFERENT TART
This is a simple recipe for a pumpkin tart in a slightly different style. We do not need a form, and the preparation is very easy. It is a cake with cheese filling and pumpkin, and to speed up you can even use a ready dough, filling takes only a few minutes of cooking, and then put everything in the oven and the result is guaranteed!
When buying a pumpkin, make sure that there are no soft parts on the skin and that it is heavy. Winter pumpkins are sweeter and calorific than summer pumpkins and are a unique source of potassium and provitamin A.
The recipe for a pumpkin galette is very tasty and is especially suitable for the first cold days of the year.
COMPONENTS
On the cake
250 g flour
185 g cold butter
2-3 tablespoons of cold water a
pinch of salt
For filling:
400 g pumpkin
250 g cheese (eg mozzarella)
2 onions
2 tablespoons bread crumbs
2 tablespoons cheese Parmesan
thyme
olive oil
salt
pepper
To prepare a pumpkin tart pour the flour into a bowl and cut the butter. Add water and knead quickly until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough. Wrap it in cling film. Leave in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Cut the pumpkin flesh into small cubes. Cut the chopped onions in a saucepan.
Add the pumpkin, add some water and cook for about 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with thyme.
Roll the dough out with a rolling pin on a floured surface, up to a thickness of 5 mm.
Gently move the resulting circle onto a plaque lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle the center with breadcrumbs and grated parmesan cheese. Arrange a pumpkin with onion and sprinkle with cheese.
Fold the edges of the dough towards the center by pressing gently.
Bake in oven preheated to 180 ° for 40-45 minutes.
Serve hot or cold!
