Hungarian cabbage salad


An interesting variety of salads for lunch or dinner. It can be refrigerated for up to 7 days, so you can make more of it.


Ingredients


  • 1/4 white cabbage (approx. 300 g)
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 red onion
  • 75 ml of white wine vinegar
  • 100 ml of water
  • 1.5 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar

Cut all the vegetables into strips: using a mandolin (cabbage), a grater (carrot) and a knife (pepper, red onion). Place the vegetables in a bowl and mix thoroughly.

Place the vinegar, salt, sugar and water in a pot until the sugar and salt dissolve. Pour the sauce over the vegetables. Mix thoroughly, preferably with your hands.

Refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes in the fridge before serving.
