Plum Puff Pastry is so pretty, simple, sweet and tasty!
The perfect dessert to be quickly made by anyone. In this form, they will also work as a sweet European-style breakfast with morning cappuccino or espresso.
Ingredients
- 1 packet of puff pastry (fresh or frozen)
- a few plums
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of butter (melted)
- 1 egg
Prepare the ingredients
Defrost frozen puff pastry according to package directions if using frozen puff pastry .
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
If the puff pastry is already rolled out, cut it into rectangles. If rollout requirements, roll out into a rectangle and then divide into rectangles.
Place the rectangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Keep at least small spaces between them.
Make holes in the center of each rectangle with a fork. Brush the center of each rectangle with melted butter. Then sprinkle with an even layer of brown sugar.
Place a few slices of plum in the center of each rectangle. Use a knife to lightly cut the dough around the fruit.
Beat the egg. Brush it over the edges of each cookie.
Bake for 20 minutes. Cool and serve or store in an airtight container.
