Apple Cabbage Slaw

TASTY AND HEALTHY VEGETABLE SALAD

I was looking for an idea for a different use of red cabbage than in a stewed form, as my mother does.

I wanted to use raw cabbage, so I found a recipe for her combination with apple and carrot. 

An addition perfect for dinner

COMPONENTS

 

1/3  glass  mayonnaise

1/3  glass  Greek yogurt

1  tablespoon of  apple cider vinegar

1/2  tablespoons of  honey

1/2  teaspoon of  salt

600-800  g of  small red cabbage

1  pc of  carrot (large)

1  pc of  apples

1/3  glass of  raisins

Prepare the sauce, mixing together mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, apple cider vinegar, honey and salt. Remove the red cabbage core. Chop. Peel the carrot and grate on thick mesh. Wash the apple, remove the center and grate it. Squeeze the apples on a paper towel Place the cabbage, carrot, apple and raisins in a bowl. Add the sauce and mix until everything is covered. 

Serve!

 

Recipe Notes

 

* you can change the proportions of yogurt and mayonnaise, but this will also change the taste of the sauce
