Remember that the sweetness of this cocktail is due to the ripeness of bananas, so use those that are well ripe. If you still want it to be a little sweeter, you can add some honey or reduce a little cocoa.
- 2 large overripe bananas, peeled, sliced and frozen
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup ice (optional, or cold milk)
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add all ingredients to the blender. Blend until it is creamy.
* the overripe bananas will add smoothies, so use those that have a large number of spots
