I wanted to eat something different. So why not Middle Eastern cuisine, but not from a kiosk.
Ingredients
- 0.5 kg of ground beef
- 1/2 onion, grated
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of rosemary
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1 teaspoon Sumac (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Barbecue method
Preheat the grill over medium-high heat.
Grate the onion. Place the grated onion on a paper towel and squeeze it to squeeze out excess liquid.
Mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, pepper, salt, rosemary, cumin, oregano, sumac, and cinnamon in a large bowl. The meat can be baked right away, but it will taste better if you put it aside for a while. You can even prepare the day before and store in the refrigerator.
Shape the meat around the skewer or create narrow patties.
Put the meat on a hot, greased grill and cook until done on each side, turn the meat every 2-3 minutes, for a total of about 8-10 minutes.
Baking method:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Follow the steps until the ingredients are mixed.
Place the kofty on a lightly greased or paper-lined baking tray and bake for 30 minutes, turning it halfway over.
Serve with tortilla and vegetables
