Simple and delicious burger buns. I was looking for something to replace the rolls I bought, so I baked it myself. They are also suitable for sandwiches.
Ingredients
for 7-8 rolls
- 250 ml of milk
- 30 g of butter, melted
- 1 & 1/2 tablespoons of sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon of dry yeast (5 g) or 10 g of fresh yeast
- 1 egg
- 2 & 1/2 cups of wheat flour
- sesame seeds for sprinkling
- egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of milk to brush on top
Mix the wheat flour with dry yeast (first make a leaven with fresh ones: mix a little milk with yeast, a spoonful of flour and sugar, leave to rise for several minutes).
Add the rest of the ingredients and make. Finally, add cooled, dissolved fat. The dough should be flexible. Shape into a ball, place in a bowl and cover with a cloth, set aside in a warm place until it is doubled in volume.
Then divide the dough into about 8 parts and form rolls by flattening a little. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, cover with a cloth and leave to rise for about 30 minutes.
Before putting into the oven, brush with yolk mixed with milk. Sprinkle the top with sesame seeds.
Bake at 190 degrees C for 12 – 15 minutes.Like us:
