Crunches, crunches. Amazing crispy chicken baked in corn flakes combined with the perfect blend of spices.
This simple corn flake chicken recipe is combined with simple ingredients and you can prepare it all in an hour. Really quick dinner not needing much attention. It goes perfectly with baked potatoes and beets.
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons of milk (can be vegetable)
- 0.5 kg of chicken thighs without bones and skin
- 2 -3 cups of corn flakes
- 1 teaspoon of sweet pepper
- ½ teaspoon of dried garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
Place the corn flakes in the bowl of the robot and crush them finely (structure similar to breadcrumbs).
Put the cereal in a bowl, add spices: paprika, garlic, pepper, salt and turmeric. Mix thoroughly.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together.
Line a large baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Dip each chicken leg in the egg mixture and then coat in the cornflakes with the spices. Place these thighs on the baking tray. Repeat with the others.
Then gently pour the oil over the top of the chickens.
Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, until they are browned and crispy.
Simultaneously with the chicken, you can bake potatoes in the shape of fries and beetroot. These are the perfect additions!
Serve it right away.
