Kabak Salad – Turkish zucchini and yoghurt salad


 salatsi is a creamy  with yogurt and . It is perfect as an addition to food or as an addition to bread. It is perfect for grilled dishes and goes well with salmon.


Ingredients


4 servings

  • 2 small courgettes (or 1 larger)
  • 300ml of Greek (natural) yoghurt
  • finely chopped fresh dill
  • 1 clove of
  • approx. 4-5 tbsp. roughly chopped (can be omitted)
  • olive oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper

Grate the zucchini on coarse meshes. Squeeze the zucchini water with your hands.

 Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the zucchini for 4-5 minutes. Then let it cool down.

In a bowl, combine yogurt, finely chopped or crushed garlic clove, dill, salt and pepper. Then add the zucchini and walnuts . Mix and set aside for a while. 

Drizzle with and serve as an accompaniment to your meal or enjoy it with a piece of bread.
