- 1/2 pc of red onion
- 1 tablespoon of lard
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
Fry the chorizo in a larger frying pan over medium heat until crispy. (preferably non-sticky)
Put the chorizo in a bowl, but leave the melted fat in the pan. Add 1 tablespoon of lard to this.
Dice the red onion and put it in the pan, fry until tender, then add the Brussels sprouts, cut into halves. After a while, add a little water so that it does not burn. Fry for about 10 minutes until tender.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add honey and dijon mustard and mix well.
Fry for another 30 seconds. Add chorizo. Serve warm.
