As we all know, silage is healthy. It is true that you usually eat sauerkraut or pickled cucumbers, you can also pickle other vegetables. This time it was zucchini.
In this form, zucchini is perfect as an addition to sandwiches / hamburgers, or as part of salads.
Ingredients
- 2 zucchini (green or yellow, or mix)
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- salt
Wash courgettes thoroughly and cut off the ends. Cut into thin slices or, if larger, remove the stones and cut into smaller pieces.
Add 2 tablespoons of salt to two liters of cold water. Mix thoroughly.
Arrange the zucchini in jars.
Slice the garlic and add to the zucchini along with the bay leaf.
Pour salt water and close the jars. Set aside overnight.
Then it can be moved to a cool place, such as a cellar.
Bon Appetit!
