Apple and nut cakes made of phyllo dough

Simple and tasty cakes with a rather original taste. For this you use the ready-made filo pastry currently available in many stores.


  • 1 packet of phyllo pastry
  • 1 kg of apples
  • 150g of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • powdered sugar for decoration.

Peel the apples, cut them into small pieces and put them in the pan. Add a tablespoon of butter, sugar and cinnamon, and a little water. Place on the stove burner and fry the apples until tender. At the end, add the peanut butter and mix thoroughly.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.

Brush a sheet of phyllo dough with melted butter. Fold in half and divide into two parts. Butter each of them and place the finished apples in the center. fold to form a rectangular cake (two sides to the center then roll up). Do this with each piece of phyllo dough. Put the finished biscuits on a baking tray and lightly grease them with butter.

Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
