Healthy pasta with shrimps and asparagus

I present a recipe for simple pasta with asparagus and prawns, slightly lemon, quick and with only a few ingredients. You only need 20 minutes!

The dish is light and pleasant, so it is perfect for dinner. Try it and you!

(Tastes great also without shrimp, so if someone doesn’t like it, they might skip it)


  • 250g of farfalle (bow tie) or orecchiette (small ears / shells)
  • 1 bunch of asparagus 
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice + zest of 1/2 lemon
  • 400g of thawed and peeled shrimps
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic 
  • 1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese 
  • salt and pepper to taste

Cook the pasta in a large salted pot of water. Cook until al dente according to package instructions.

At the same time, prepare the rest of the ingredients.

Put a tablespoon of butter in the pan, melt it. Then add the prawns and garlic. Fry until golden brown for about 2 minutes on each side. Put it aside!

Put the olive oil, lemon juice + zest in a frying pan and heat it over medium heat. Add the asparagus, peeled, and fry for 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the previously fried prawns.

Add Parmesan and 1 tablespoon of pasta water. Drain the pasta and add it to the pan. If necessary, season with salt and pepper. 

Put on plates, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and enjoy!
